Henderson Hope VI Phase I

Henderson Hope VI Phase I

Completed summer 2010

The FY 2007 Hope VI Main Street Revitalization Grant is the first one of its kind to have successfully gone from predevelopment, through the necessary HUD due diligence and review process, allowing grant funds to be released for brick and mortar construction. Following release of said funds, Rehab Development and Rehab Builders have performed an adaptive reuse of four downtown Main Street Henderson buildings. This adaptive reuse has resulted in 12 loft style apartments located on the upper stories and rear of these buildings. Additionally, and without Hope VI grant funds, Rehab Development and Rehab Builders have completely renovated the first floor commercial spaces located at street level inside two of these four buildings.
